Dusti Gurule is an accomplished leader with more than 25 years of nonprofit, public service, and community advocacy experience. She has a strong passion for advancing justice issues and works to advance an intersectional and racial equity framework. She has founded and led several nationally recognized progressive non-profit and political efforts, including helping to launch the architecture for the progressive infrastructure in Colorado in 2006, served as an Obama appointee with the U.S. Labor Department for 7 years, and continues to curate a more robust Latino political ‘space and voice’ in the state. Dusti serves as treasurer of the board of directors for Voces Unidas de las Montañas and is the chair of the board for Voces Unidas Action Fund.
