Denise Feriozzi is the Co-founder and Executive Director of the Pipeline Fund, Pipeline Education Fund, and the Pipeline Initiative—a set of organizations dedicated to building a more reflective democracy. Denise’s work supports a growing network of state and national organizations that develop leaders from underrepresented communities, including women, people of color, young people, new Americans, and LGBTQ+ people.
Denise has worked for more than two decades at the intersection of politics, gender, and philanthropy. As a Principal at Civitas Public Affairs Group, she provided strategic advice to major foundations and individual donors, created and ran the super PAC supporting presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren, and helped the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s Independent Expenditure win back the U.S. House of Representatives in 2018. Prior to that, Denise spent nearly a decade working to elect women to office through her various leadership roles at EMILY’s List, including as Deputy Executive Director and Political Director. She has held senior roles on numerous candidate and issue campaigns, including both of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaigns; Americans United to Protect Social Security; and Communities for Quality Education.
Denise has been recognized by the National Journal, Campaigns & Elections, and Marie Claire magazine, which named her one of the nation’s ‘most connected women.’ She is a graduate of the College of William & Mary and a proud native of the great state of New Jersey. Denise lives in Madison, Wisconsin, with her husband and two sons.
