In Michigan, BOOM is a movement-owned back-office for-profit that provides accounting and operations services to MI’s multi-entity organizing groups – a significant innovation. NAKASEC built a shared 501(c)(4) that supports a network of c4s, providing compliance, finance, and administrative support to a family of organizations. And Arizona has piloted a program training and providing legal and compliance services to keep bold power-building groups complaint in election years. While the Center for Empowered Politics is one of the leaders in providing support to social justice organizations and movement-building shared infrastructure.
