Sandra Solis (she/her) is the project coordinator for the State Courts on the Power Map project at re: power. Since 2022, she has co-collaborated in creating and launching a national education and training program centered on state courts. Sandra has helped build and produce national and state-specific curricula, recruited and trained a national training team of 17 BIPOC trainers, produced a training video, and launched a summer research learning lab cohort.
Sandra has 15 years of experience in grassroots organizing, directing and leading campaigns, program development, and political and cultural education training. She specializes in developing curricula and teaching organizing and political education to organizers and impacted communities. As a movement builder and educator, she has centralized her work around developing leadership and empowering impacted communities to build collective power, fight back, and win.
Sandra was a teaching fellow at Harvard University (2020 & 2022) teaching Leadership Organizing and Action under the leadership of Marshall Ganz. Sandra is a recipient of the Corazon de Justicia Award (2014) and the US Human Rights Network Human Rights Award (2021).
