As Nebraska Appleseed's Strategy Senior Director, Omaid Zabih coordinates and works with strategy directors to assess needs and opportunities for Appleseed’s policy, organizing, legal, ballot initiative, and communications work. Omaid joined Appleseed in 2011 as a staff attorney for the Immigrants & Communities Program, and later moved to becoming Appleseed’s Federal Policy Director, before being named to his current role in 2020. He earned his J.D. from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2011.
