With 15 years in student, labor, community, and electoral organizing, Beth brings her extensive experience leading organizations similar to the civic engagement grantees supported by Tides. Beth
believes in the power of organizing to protect and advance democracy and draws on her expertise to
educate donors about the most effective organizing efforts across the country. Her portfolio focus at
Tides is civic engagement, voting rights, and organizing. Prior to working at Tides, Beth served as
executive director of the Massachusetts Voter Table. She headed their grassroots census and
redistricting efforts, advocated for voting rights and economic justice policies, and coordinated
organizations to participate in ballot initiative campaigns. Beth is an alumnus of the United States
Student Association and has a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
