Jessa Glover (shey/they) serves as the Director of HR & Operations at New Disabled South Rising. Jessa is a dedicated Business Strategist, Systems Optimizer, and People-first Leadership Coach with nearly a decade of expertise in operational design and trauma-informed HR for minority-led organizations and online startups. Throughout her change-driven career, Jessa has served as Vice President and Assistant Director of HR for non-profit organizations and local political campaigns in Georgia. She holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Business Management and is a certified PHR.
Her approach emphasizes both safety and inclusion, ensuring that these principles are at the core of their work. A seasoned coach, Jessa is a skilled educator who firmly believes that
empowered people make positive change. Accessibility is a guiding principle in all of her endeavors, and she actively strives to remove barriers and open doors to a more inclusive society where everyone has equal access.
Currently, Jessa's areas of focus in study revolve around challenging status-quo HR, advocating for equitable and accessible policies, and building teams that are both interdependent and forward-thinking.
Jessa's personal experiences as a biracial Black, disabled, queer person deeply inform their work and personal growth. Outside of their professional pursuits, Jessa enjoys concerts, singing, spending time with her son, and anything outdoors (preferably near a body of water). She currently resides in Peachtree Corners, Georgia.
